GESA Energy was founded by Georges Salgi to provide independent advisory services to renewable developers, power producers, utilities, investors, and energy consumers navigating increasingly complex electricity markets.
With more than 20 years of experience across the Nordic and European power sector, Georges has worked across the full energy value chain — from project development and investment decisions to PPA origination, offtake strategy, balancing services, trading, and market operations. Through roles with Vattenfall, Mind Energy, HOFOR, and Nordic Solar, combined with a multidisciplinary background in mechanical engineering, energy systems planning, and business development, he brings a systems perspective that bridges commercial, technical, and organizational considerations.
Drawing on a strong network across the European power market and a background spanning both industry and academic research, GESA Energy helps clients make informed decisions and successfully translate them into operational reality.
- Leading offtake development and implementation for Baltic Power (Poland’s first offshore wind farm, 1,140 MW), including PPA negotiation, operational readiness, and the establishment of processes and capabilities required for commercial and compliant market operations starting from first energization.
- Advising a large-scale data center investment in DK1 on power procurement strategy, including market sounding, supplier and utility engagement, and assessment of long-term PPA opportunities and pricing.
